My name is Beáta. Pronounced Bee-AH-tuh. I was born in Canada but my parents emigrated from Hungary. I’ve been reading avidly ever since I was able to, and my preferred genres are romance, fantasy, and sci-fi.

Apart from reading, I work in communications, and I’m also a streamer, actor, and writer. I’m currently working on my debut novel, which is a fantasy book revolving around themes of trauma, PTSD, and womanhood set in a medieval, magic-filled world (with dragons). I’m super passionate about books that intertwine mental illnesses and real-world struggles with fantasy themes, and I can’t wait to release my own take on this concept.
